TWO DIFFERENT TRACKS — SAME EXPERT FACULTY
Miami Herbert offers two learning tracks for a personalized graduate experience: the online MBA and the online accelerated MBA. While the time it takes to complete each program and credits required may be different, both tracks are led by our acclaimed MBA faculty. Online MBA
Designed for professionals of all experience levels, the online MBA program empowers students to build a strong business foundation, gain connections to global companies, and prepare to succeed in industries that align with their career passions. Time to complete
20 months on a regular schedule or 28 months on a flexible schedule.
Total credits
42 credits, including two immersions
Prerequisites
A bachelor’s in any field as well as a minimum of two years professional experience is required.
Accelerated Online MBA
Designed for professionals with an educational background in business who are looking to enhance their business expertise, the accelerated track offers students the ability to apply more quickly what they learn in the classroom directly to their career. Time to complete
16 months on a regular schedule or 24 months on a flexible schedule.
Total credits
35 credits — students waive the one-credit Leading Change in Organizations immersion course and the Managerial Economics and Responsible Business courses.
Prerequisites
A bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in business earned within the last seven years, as well as minimum two years of professional experience is required.

Our rigorous curriculum spans traditional MBA competencies — including management, economics, finance, and marketing — as well as emerging issues in AI, business law, technology, and more.
Under the guidance of our expert faculty, you’ll examine real-world case studies, analyze current business challenges, and learn how to negotiate in complex scenarios that reflect what’s happening in today’s boardrooms. This isn’t just theory — it’s hands-on, action-oriented learning that makes you a savvy strategist, a shrewd negotiator, and an effective leader who adapts fast when the market shifts.

Admissions Process
The online MBA program offers three start dates per year — January, May, and September — so you can plan your application on your timeline. No GMAT scores are required to apply.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Traditional online MBA track — You must have a bachelor’s degree in any field as well as a minimum of two years professional experience.
Accelerated online MBA track — You must have a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in business from the last seven years, as well as a minimum of two years professional experience.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID
U.S. students who are admitted to and enrolled in the upcoming cohort may qualify for a scholarship of up to US$12,500. Qualified international students are also eligible to receive a significant scholarship applied directly to their tuition cost. The value of an online MBA will often depend on a range of factors such as school and program ranking, faculty quality, and curriculum difficulty. Our students value the expertise of our faculty and the global alumni network that consists of professionals at organizations including Amazon, Capital One, Citi, IBM, and Visa.

Each organization is different, but many treat an MBA earned online the same as an MBA earned on campus — they are, after all, often the same degree. For example, our online MBA program courses are designed by the same acclaimed faculty who teach in the on-campus program.

Typical MBA programs take two to three years to complete, based on whether they are full or part time. Our online MBA can be completed in as few as 20 months on a full-time schedule or 28 months on a part-time schedule. Also, our accelerated track can be completed in 16 months full time or 24 months part time.

Every year, more and more MBA programs accept standardized test scores such as the GRE instead of the GMAT, or they waive GMAT test scores altogether. Our online MBA program does not require either GRE or GMAT test scores to apply — we prefer to focus on potential for leadership and experience.

Applicants to our online MBA program need two years of prior professional work experience and a bachelor’s degree from any field. Applicants to the accelerated online MBA track must have a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in business earned in the last seven years.
